Creating a New Career

After listening to the Presidents State of the Union Address he just confirmed to me that what we once knew is not to be true anymore. It didn't take me long to understand that we are in a change. A change of magnum proportion a change and creating a new career. As we have lost most our manufacturing and when you hear that GM sold more cars in China last year it is no wonder we are where we are at. How can a country that is under selling us be making a profit and afford out high end cost products.

After the speech I am more confused now than I have ever been. With the digital age in front of us is this where we need to concentrate on. On digital products technologies? Well I have to say that China is one up on us in that too. Their infrastructure in the wireless consumption of bandwidth has far surpassed the USA for over five years now. They are far more superior in this area. Even though I have math skills I do not have the math skills for computer sciences.

So I have to ask are we the creators of applications? How to market products? How to sell and make that sale? Are we going to be pushing China products on the internet to make a living? As we keep expanding the technologies through a couple working platforms we may not expand. What I mean is the virtual world like Google, Micro Soft, Yahoo, Face Book are our latest creations that China doesn't seem to have a hold on and appear to have the New Properties of  our future.

I look at the internet as the new land. The discovery and the gold rush is on!. As Countries and Continents are being built and discovered with opportunities beyond our wildest dreams, our activities will determine where we go. I see the future, do you? I see where we spend our time and how this time spent there has built small towns into colloidal Countries and are larger in numbers than Most Continents. The virtual world is here and as long as we have electricity we will have these new opportunities.

With all this new land being discovered and created, so are New Careers.  People are flooding to it in the hopes to discover what others have discovered too, there is no doubt to me our activities are sighted in on the internet. It is becoming the place to be and I bet we all are multi tasking more today than we ever have. It seems that We are also going into this new skill, the skill of words and attraction marketing that you have to have these days to survive. Even if you are looking to work for someone you will have to be hooked up so your profile and resume is available for the employer.

You can not only depend on one thing for income, but multiple income sources. I found this out and it drove one of my businesses out of business because it became less demanding because of the high quality products that we can buy today. They last longer and because the technology changes so fast the old product gets replaced that much faster. We throw away and replace. And we want it now! We have become very demanding and crucial. We have become more educated and informed. It is just a fact and we are very active at it. New Careers are happening from it too!

So where is my new career taking me. I really don't know yet, but I know being here and writing sure seems to be helping. I see that by writing and sharing that there are possibilities at a income. Not only any income but one that can pay a residual income. So is it not like a gold mine. You stake your claim for a minimal amount of money and start digging. Instead of a shovel you are going to use your Mind.

No physical labor here, Just blisters on the tips of your fingers from burning the keyboard up. Hopefully you are not a chicken pecker like me. I am a two fingered bandit that can type about 60 words a minute, if I know what I am going to write. I have to look at my keyboard as I type so I can not look at something and type from it. For some reason I learned the bad way. When I went to school taking typing class was a girls class. No boys took that class, but it did interest me at the time, after all we were still in the century of when type set was discovered. Who knew that Electronics(Math and Physics) and Typing would become the new future. That paper and words would become so valuable.

Recognizing that has to be worth something, but it's not. You see there are a lot of claims going up everyday. More people are flooding to the vastness of it's space leaving the labor behind and shoveling with their minds.
We are in a new time and in a new age. I truly am trying to accept it and move on with it in hopes to find my vein of gold while I see others doing well in their efforts from mining for gold too. So is ming with your mind a real career? I play guitar too, but I am no Joe Perry, that is a reality and so is my new career.
